Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Canada) is member of Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation("CDIC").  Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation is a federal Crown corporation created by Parliament.  CDIC insures Canadians' savings in case their bank or other CDIC member institution fails or goes bankrupt.  CDIC is NOT a bank.  CDIC is NOT a private insurance company.

The following instruments and/or products are eligible for deposit insurance from the CDIC, subject always to maximum coverage limitations as outlined in their brochure "Protecting Your Deposits" and provided they are in Canadian funds; are payable in Canada and have a term of no more than five years:
