ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card is a card that you could pre-load with money and then use it to make purchases anywhere UnionPay Card is accepted. The currency of the card is in CNY or CAD. The amount of every purchase you make will be automatically deducted from the balance of the card until it is reduced to zero. No. The ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card can only be loaded once at the time of purchase. Cards cannot be reloaded with any additional funds. - Can ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card be replaced if lost or stolen?
No. The ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card is anonymous which is similar to cash. Possession of the ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card is a sufficient proof of ownership. If the ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card is lost or stolen, the Bank will not issue a replacement card or refund any of the prepaid value. - Does the ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card have an expiry date?
No. There’s no expiry date for the Card. Once the balance of the prepaid value of the Account reduced to zero, the Card will have no value and cannot be reused.

- Is there a PIN for ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card?
The Card is magnetic stripe card and PIN is not required. If any POS terminal requires a PIN to authorize the transaction, you may randomly input 6 digit numbers to complete the transaction. - Can I receive a statement?

- Can I use my ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card to withdraw Cash at an ATM?
No. Your ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card cannot be used to withdraw cash at an ATM or at any financial institutions; it can only be used to make purchases at POS terminals with the China UnionPay’s logo.
- What if I want to buy something that costs more than the balance on the ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card?
If you want to make a purchase for more than the available balance on your card, you must tell the cashier the exact amount to charge to your ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card first, then use another method of payment-credit card, debit card, cash or cheque - for the remaining purchase amount, this is known as a split payment. (Note: some merchants may not allow multiple forms of payment.) For example, to make a purchase for ¥100 with only ¥60 left on your card, tell the cashier to only charge ¥60 to the card first, and then give the cashier another method of payment to pay for the remaining ¥40. Remember, merchants do not know your card balance and cannot automatically deduct the remaining balance from your card. So if you don’t tell the cashier that you would like to use multiple forms of payment and try to make a purchase for more than the amount on the ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card, the transaction will be declined.
- What happens if I need to return something I purchased with my ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card?
Keep your ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card safe in case you need to return any goods for credit. The return and refund policy may vary by merchants. Merchants may credit the fund to your ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card, refund by cash, or provide a store credit.
If a credit is issued to your ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card, it may take some time for the fund to appear in your card balance. Please check your balance regularly on our website.

If you have a dispute with any goods or services charged to your card, you should settle the dispute directly with the merchant.
- My ICBK UnionPay Prepaid Card does not have my name embossed on it – do I need to sign the sales receipt?
While your card does not have your name on it, you must sign the back before using it. When making a purchase you will be required to sign the receipt, and the merchant will verify your signature with the one signed on the back of the card, to further process the payment.
